How to edit the hosts file in windows 8

  
The steps are as follows:

1. Open Command Prompt (cmd) by right click and select "Run as administrator"
2. Give the command cd \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc in cmd and press Enter
3. Then type notepad hosts behind cd \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc press Enter
4. After appearing hostsnya notepad then you edit and save
